The Leaf River IR-5 includes a new generation infrared movement detector and a high-resolution 5 Megapixel digital camera, specially designed for this purpose. The case, covered with Mossy Oak Treestand© camouflage is totally waterproof and includes a steel mounting protection system (padlock not included) offering a number of configurations for installation.

The 16Mb internal memory can store up to 50 photos, with a SD memory connector allowing storage of hundreds of pictures, depending on the size of the card and picture resolution. You can choose between photos taken during the day, the night, or over a 24 hour period and up to 90 seconds of video per day, color by daylight and B&W under low light conditions. The TV Out plug and the RCA cable supplied permit the viewing of the images on a television. A USB cable is also included for connection to a computer. Requires 4 D-cell and 3 C-cell batteries. Batteries will allow you to take about 2,500 - 3,000 pictures.

The unit can be programmed to pause from 1 to 90 minutes between pictures, and by using the Quick Shot mode, you can capture an even quicker 2nd and 3rd picture before entering the pause time, if additional motion is detected, such as a buck following a doe down a trail.
